Pipeline
Track deals through your sales pipeline with Kanban and table views.
Overview
The pipeline is where you track active sales opportunities from first contact through close. Aggrandize gives you two ways to view your deals: a visual Kanban board and a detailed table.

A metrics bar at the top of the page shows total pipeline value, Closed Won, and average deal size.

Pipeline stages
Deals move through stages that represent your sales process:
Prospecting → Qualification → Proposal → Negotiation → Closed Won or Closed Lost
Your organization can customize these stages to match your workflow.
Creating deals
Project start and finish dates are optional, but setting them places the deal on the Timeline — a Gantt view of your whole portfolio scheduled across the months ahead.
Manual entry
- Click Create deal in the top-right
- Enter the deal name (required), value, priority, and pick a pipeline + stage (both required)
- Optionally set a close date, project start and finish dates, description, and location
- Click Create Deal

The form opens as a dialog:

Editing a deal uses the same form pre-filled with the deal's current values (MockDealFormModal mode="edit").
Deal details
Click any deal to see its full profile:
- Header — name, stage badge (color-coded to the pipeline), priority, amount, close date
- Deal Details — amount, priority, stage, close date, project start/finish dates, location
- Description — free-text notes about the deal
- Activity tabs — Activity log, Email threads, Tasks
- Contacts — people involved, each with a role (Architect of Record, Project Manager, Decision Maker, etc.)
- Companies — organizations involved in the deal
Deals are most useful when they're well-connected. Link contacts with their roles, associate companies, and attach email threads. These relationships form the relational graph that powers the AI assistant — the more connected your deals are, the more the assistant can help.

Linking contacts and companies
The right rail of the detail page works just like Contacts and Companies — click + Add under either section to open a search picker.
Add Contact
Add Company
You can only link existing contacts and companies. To add brand-new ones, create them on the Contacts or Companies page first.
Bulk actions
Tick the checkbox on multiple deals (table view) to enter selection mode. A bulk action bar appears with inline selects for Priority, Owner, and Pipeline (the latter only shows when you have more than one pipeline), plus a destructive Delete.

To move deals between stages, drag them across columns in Kanban view or use the per-deal Stage field on the detail page — stages are not part of the bulk action bar.
Filtering and search
Filter deals by:
- Deal name
- Stage
- Priority
- Value range
- Linked contact or company
- Location (city or state)
- Owner
- Any custom fields defined on the active pipeline (e.g. Delivery System, Confidence)
Filters live in the table view's filter bar; in Kanban view, all deals on the active pipeline are shown.
A No open tasks filter surfaces deals that have nothing scheduled against them — a quick way to find opportunities that may be stalling. To put your deals on a Gantt chart by their project dates, see the Timeline.
If your org has defined custom fields on a pipeline, those fields also show up on the deal form and detail page, and can be added as columns from the Columns menu on the deals table.
