Inviting Your Team

Add team members to your Aggrandize organization.

Sending invitations

Organization owners can invite new members:

  1. Go to Settings > Members
  2. Click Invite
  3. Enter the person's email address
  4. Choose a role:
    • Member — can view and manage CRM data (contacts, companies, deals, email)
    • Owner — same as Member, plus can manage team members, settings, and billing
  5. Click Send Invitation

The invitee receives a branded email with a link to join your organization. Invitations expire after 7 days.

Managing pending invitations

In Settings > Members, pending invitations appear below the current members list. For each pending invitation you can:

  • Resend — sends the email again and resets the 7-day expiry
  • Revoke — cancels the invitation so the link no longer works

What the invitee sees

If they don't have an Aggrandize account yet

  1. They click the link in the invitation email
  2. They see who invited them, the organization name, and their assigned role
  3. They click Create Account to sign up
  4. After creating their account, they're automatically added to the organization

If they already have an account

  1. They click the link in the invitation email
  2. They sign in (if not already signed in)
  3. They click Join [Organization Name]
  4. They're added to the organization and redirected to the CRM

If their email doesn't match

If the invitee is signed in with a different email address than the invitation was sent to, they'll see an "Email Mismatch" message and be prompted to sign in with the correct email.

If the invitation expired

The invitee will see an "Invitation Expired" message. Ask an owner to send a new invitation from Settings > Members.

Seat limits

Each plan includes a number of seats. When you invite someone and your team exceeds the included seats, additional seat charges are added to your next invoice automatically. See Managing Seats for pricing details.

Seat availability is checked both when the invitation is sent and when it's accepted. If seats fill up between those two events, the acceptance may be rejected — in that case, add more seats via your billing portal and resend the invitation.

Changing roles

Owners can change any member's role from the three-dot menu next to their name in Settings > Members.

Removing members

Owners can remove members from the three-dot menu in Settings > Members. The last owner of an organization cannot be removed.

When a member is removed, their seat is freed immediately and the charge is removed from the next invoice.
