Re: Riverpoint Tower — Phase 2 budget review

From Devon Walsh · 9:14 AMLink to Deal

Hi team,

Quick note on the change-order — we should be able to lock in the steel pricing before the end of the month if we can confirm tonnage by Friday. I've attached the latest cost summary from the fabricator.

Phase 2 base bid is unchanged; the optional canopy alt is on a separate sheet pending the city's response on the parking deck variance.

Because it lives next to your CRM data, the inbox can do things a plain mail client can't — link threads to deals, show which conversations are already attached to a deal, and sort your mail by what the sender is to your business.

Primary and Other

At the top of the Inbox thread list are two tabs: Primary and Other. They split your inbox by the sender's contact category so relationship mail doesn't drown in vendor noise:

  • Primary — mail from clients, leads, subcontractors, internal teammates, and regulators. Senders who aren't in your contacts yet (or haven't been categorized) also land here, so nothing important slips past you.
  • Other — mail from every other category: vendors, service providers, architects, and engineers, plus newsletters, notifications, and spam.

Top 10 RFPs this week

From noreply@constructionweekly.example · 8:02 AMLink to Deal

Your weekly roundup of the biggest public and private RFPs:

1. Boulder Civic Center — $14M renovation, bids due Jul 24

2. Mesa Industrial Park expansion — sitework + two tilt-up shells

3. Riverpoint Plaza tenant fitout — 40,000 sq ft, fast-track

You're receiving this because you subscribed to Construction Weekly.

A few details worth knowing:

  • On the Other tab, each row shows a small category chip (Vendor, Newsletter, Notification, …) so you can see why it was filed there.
  • The tabs apply to the Inbox folder only — Sent, Drafts, Archive, and custom folders always show everything, and so does search.
  • The split is driven by your contacts' categories, so it gets better as you categorize. The AI classifier can categorize your backlog in one pass — recategorizing a contact moves their mail between tabs automatically.

Drafts

Drafts are first-class in the inbox — you can see them, resume them, and send them without hunting through the Drafts folder.

While you compose, your work is saved automatically a moment after you stop typing — you'll see Saving… then Draft saved in the composer header. Drafts are stored in your email provider's own Drafts folder, so they're also there if you open Outlook or Gmail directly.

If you close the composer with unsaved changes, Aggrandize asks what to do instead of silently dropping your work:

In the thread list, a conversation with an unsent draft shows a small Draft marker so you can spot unfinished replies at a glance:

Inside the conversation, the draft appears in place with a Draft badge — it reads clearly as not sent yet, never as the latest message. Click Edit draft to reopen it in the composer, finish it, and send, all without leaving the thread:

Hi Devon,

Confirmed on tonnage — our estimator will have final numbers Thursday afternoon, so Friday works. Sending the summary sheet along once…

Edit draft

The AI assistant works the same way: when you ask it to draft a reply, the draft lands in the thread (and your Drafts folder) for you to review, edit, and send — the assistant never sends mail itself.

Links in an email always open in a new tab, so you never lose your place in the inbox.

Before opening, Aggrandize also checks for a classic phishing pattern: link text that looks like one web address but actually points somewhere else. When the visible text claims a different site than the real destination, you'll see a warning first:

Deceptive-link warning — the text and the destination disagree

This link may be deceptive

The link text points to a different site than where it actually goes. Only continue if you trust the destination.

Link text saysnorthwindarch.example
Actually goes tonw-arch-docs.filesharehost.example
https://nw-arch-docs.filesharehost.example/view/a8f2…
Go backContinue anyway

Choose Go back to stay put, or Continue anyway if you trust the destination. Ordinary links ("click here", a person's name) open directly — the warning only appears when the link makes a claim about where it goes and that claim is false.

Remote images are also blocked by default for privacy — click Show images on a message to load them.

When your mailbox needs attention

Email providers occasionally expire or revoke a connection's authorization (a password change or a security policy at your provider can do it). When that happens, sync pauses and the Email page tells you directly instead of failing quietly:

Click Reconnect Account, approve the provider prompt, and sync resumes — your synced emails and contacts are preserved. You can also reconnect any time from Email Settings.
