AI Credits
Understand how AI credits work and track your usage.
What are AI credits?
Credits are the currency that powers Aggrandize's AI features. They're consumed whenever you use AI-powered capabilities like:
- Asking the AI assistant to research a lead or draft an email
- Running automated contact classification
- AI-powered name, company, and title extraction
- Any other AI-assisted operation
Pricing
AI credits cost $0.01 per credit. Credits are prepaid: usage is deducted from your credit balance in real time as you use AI features — it is not billed afterward on your monthly invoice.
Welcome credits
New subscribers receive $100 in welcome credits when they first subscribe. These are applied to your account immediately after checkout, so you can start using AI features right away.
Checking your balance
Your current credit balance is displayed in Settings → Billing. The balance updates in real time as you use AI features throughout the day.

Setting up auto-reload
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Find the Auto-Reload card
- Toggle Automatically reload credits when balance is low on
- Choose your trigger threshold — when your balance drops below this amount, a reload is triggered
- Options: $10, $20, or $50 (default: $20)
- Choose your reload amount — how much to add each time
- Options: $50, $100, $200, or $500 (default: $100)
- Click Save
When your balance drops below the threshold, your card on file is charged automatically and credits are added immediately. You'll see a low-balance banner on the Credit Balance card letting you know a reload is on the way:

To resume:
- If auto-reload is enabled, credits are added automatically as soon as the next charge clears
- If auto-reload is off, turn it on or open the Stripe Customer Portal from Settings → Billing to make a one-time payment
Credits and your invoice
AI usage never appears as a line item on your monthly invoice — your invoice covers your plan and seats only. Instead, usage draws down your prepaid credit balance as it happens.
Credit purchases are what show up in billing: each auto-reload (or one-time top-up) is charged to your card on file, and the receipt is available in the Stripe Customer Portal — see Billing Portal for how to get there.
